First, you will know in what direction, if any, are the exits and second, you will know if there is anything of interest in the room. The moment you walk into a new room, you will immediately know a couple of things. Whether or not you use these options for your general playthrough is up to you, but I highly recommend taking advantage of these systems to hasten your grinding for resources!
Normally, this ends when you touch the ground, but with flight toggled on, you never stop spinning unless you get it! This is a great combo to help with grinding, and if you lower the enemy's life, it speeds things up even more. While in the air, a Barbarian will constantly spin in a circle, damaging anyone and anything they touch. My favorite option though is the ability to toggle Flight.įlight allows you, with a simple button press, to have your character float around, removing the challenge of platforming, when paired with the Barbarian class, making for a wonderful grinding combination. This menu, found under the Settings tab, gives players options like increasing or decreasing the amount of life and damage enemies do, disabling Traits, and more. To help players who may be having difficulties, Rogue Legacy 2 offers the House Rules system to help ease the challenge a bit, or ramp it up. You will know what good setups are that will maximize your chances for whatever goal you are going for! Having all the information on what spells and various things early on will help you make good heir choices later on when you do want to push for bosses or go for a grind session.

While this may seem counter-productive to the goal of beating bosses and upgrading your manor, by doing this early on, when your heirs are weaker, you can quickly start new runs and cycle through a lot of options, unlocking the descriptions and information about each one. For the first little while after starting up Rogue Legacy 2, try to focus on gathering as much information on traits, spells, and relics as you can by offing your characters over and over.
